Extended the nipple an inch but that's too much now. With the new enclosure, the galvanized tub spout nipple lost a vital 1/2" or so and normal spouts can't thread on now (too short). However we did not change the plumbing out as it was working fine ( I know). Ripped out old shower enclosure (glued onto drywall) and put in a new pre-fabricated shell from big-box store. I'm looking for the proper name/terminology of the part needed to fix this, and/or some online supplier/recommendations if available.
